Parenting consultations

We do the best we can as parents, but sometimes we need a few more tools or a little extra support.

Let us help.

Parenting consultations

Learn how to parent to the unique needs of your child/teen. This is a great service for parents struggling with problematic child/teen behavior at home or at school, and who want more targeted help. Meet with one of our parenting specialists to:

  • Get customized parenting tools and strategies to fit the needs of your child(ren)/teen(s), as well as your unique strengths/challenges as a parent.
  • Effectively address and reduce tantrum behavior.
  • Improve sleep and other routines.
  • Learn how to use consequences and reinforce good behavior.
  • Get support working as a parenting team with your partner or spouse.
  • Collaboration with child/teen/family therapist or other providers.  Can also provide referrals, if needed.

Post-testing parenting consults

Integrate findings and recommendations from your child/teen's psychoeducational or neuropsychological test report into your parenting. This is a great next step after you have met with the tester for a feedback session and are wondering: "What do I do now?"

  • Meet with one of our parenting specialists to develop doable parenting strategies, systems and techniques based on your child/teen's evaluation findings and the unique needs of your child.
  • Get support making a plan for connecting with a therapist, OT, tutor or other services.
  • Flexible scheduling.  No commitment.
  • Get support working as a parenting team with your partner or spouse.
  • Collaboration with child/teen/family therapist, schools, or other providers.  Can also provide referrals, if needed.
