Alexandra Slavet (she/her) is a licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of California (AMFT #128053). She is practicing under the supervision of Dr. Anna Nedelisky.
Alexandra works with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, anger, lonliness, self-image and identity issues. She also works with clients who have suffered childhood trauma (including emotional and sexual abuse). Alexandra has adult and co-parent coaching experience. She is passionate about child-centered co-parenting to help sustain a sense of family in the midst of separation and change. She has completed suicide, crisis, and anxiety trainings and is Level 1 Certified in Emotion Focused Individual Therapy. Additionally, Alexandra has an affinity for college students and in 2020/2021, worked as a therapist at Canada College and Palo Alto University’s e-clinic.
Alexandra focuses on meeting clients where they are, beyond labels and diagnoses, and hopes that her clients feel seen and heard in the therapy room.
In her free-time, she enjoys spending time with her children (ages 8, 15, and 16), family get-togethers, hiking, golf, tennis and building an app she created for college students.
